Are you passionate about running high quality corporate events? Do you love taking accountability for getting the details right? Are your project management and communications skills on point? If so then this could be the events role for you.
You will be taking the lead in developing, planning and executing a number of high profile events, such as the annual CPO & CFO forums, the Big Ideas Summit. As well as quarterly networking events, Roundtables and a number of smaller Executive dinners throughout the year. You’ll have support internally from the Sales & Sponsorship team, the Marketing team and also the Executive leadership team but the development, planning and execution will be down to you.
You’ll need excellent project management skills to keep everything on track across the annual calendar, and you’ll need to be across the details of each individual event from venues to speakers, guest lists to sponsors and catering and AV.
Your key responsibilities:
Event Development. Grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth across the annual calendar of events.
Project Management. Full P & L responsibility and budget management of events under your management.
Event Management. End to end accountability for event management. Including venues, speakers merchandise suppliers, AV, catering etc.
Sales & Marketing. Working closely with the in house Sales & Marketing teams to project management deliverables for each event.
Delegate Management. Maximise customer experience.
Account Management. You will be the first point of contact for a variety of event partners.
Skills & experience:
Corporate Event Management - both in person and digital
Excellent project management skills
Experience working with senior stakeholders and Executives
To be successful in this role:
Have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
Work well in fast-paced environment
Be proactive, adaptable and solutions focused with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Be a problem solver.
Excellent at building relationships
Excellent time management skills
Project Management tools, Monday.com is preferred.
The role will require some after hours work and travel to events.
